If you missed or looking for a summary of the keynote, this is what you're looking for, keep reading!

The Future is Composable, The NOW is Composable!

It has been a huge year for Sitecore, Sitecore one of the original vendors defined the CMS and XP, and now Sitecore looking into the composable XP as the leader in Content and Commerce.

Dave talked how every customer Journey is unique and grapping the attention is hard and keeping them engage is harder, regardless of the different interactions, understanding and meet the customer expectations is huge chance for brands. Dave also mentioned how business, customers and brands are unique and how businesses need unique technology that meet these needs, with composable integrated technology stack.

Even with Sitecore, it require other vendors to integrate with to meet clients needs, and that why sitecore believe that future is Composable. plug and play stack of technologies where it adapt and your business grows, where it meets and exceed future expectations,  Composable means choice,  flexibility and in parallel time to value, and future proof for what ever tomorrow brings.

Dave talked how sitecore reimagined the future of DXP through the new compostable products, MACH compatible, API first, cloud native and headless plug and play easily together.  Each product will be best in class. and they will work better together and how Sitecore is the only vendor that has a complete end to end composable products, only vendor the offer all capabilities of composable DXP.

In the last 12 months sitecore has acquired different products to speed up the move to cloud and headless, Sitecore made sure to get products that scale and has the right architecture to meet the vision, Tremendous progress with integrating the different solutions Sitecore have in the composable stack, and Sitecore is not only integrating but also innovating.

The composable DXP consists of the following Clouds:

  • Purple Hexagon is the Content Cloud
  • Read Hexagon is the Engagement Cloud
  • Teal Hexagon is the  Commerce Cloud

  • Content Cloud is the central of the portfolio, a full market leading capabilities, with collaboration , strategy and asset management to the content delivery.
  • Engagement Cloud, where  customer data, analytics, AI  and personalization, the brain behind digital experience, used by many brands
  • Commerce Cloud with headless commerce platform pulse Search capabilities.

This will make anyone able to start on a higher level and achieve the values of cloud!

There are a lot of talks about Composable but Sitecore didn't forget about the core that set the path for this, Sitecore DXP, although there is a huge demand on Sitecore compostable DXP products,  there is still investment in the DXP. It will still be a key product in Sitecore Portfolio.

Dave also mentioned that current Sitecore customers who is still on XM, they can compose their solution, so if they're looking for personalization and tracking functionality they can integration with Sitecore CDP and Personalize. or custom who want to enhance their DAM capabilities, they can integrate with Sitecore Content Hub DAM, so 10.3 is coming in next two weeks, and 10.4 for next year.

how we can we best help customers successes in the digital experience, Content experience is the customer experience, thats why sitecore is investing in content and double down in the content. with content hub we have outstanding capabilities to work with Content.

Sitecore transferred their Content Cloud into three new products:
  1. XM Cloud: released earlier this year, cloud native and enterprise CMS.
  2. Content Hub One, released today, game changing headless CMS.
  3. Search: also release today, a powerful content search capabilities allows power the search.

All build in house by R&D team.

XM CLOUD

There a lot of innovations in XM cloud, but there are three things that Dave wanted to focus on:
  • Cloud native architecture and fully decoupled and headless, Scalable and upgradable versions, support JamStack and NextJS.
  • Complete frontend authoring environment, making marketers and business users more productive,  site management and page authoring in a new modern interface, the new site manager you can manage multisite Multilanguage easily, and can be extended by partners to create a marketplace, Page building environment that is intuitive, responsive and powerful. In addition to a component builder that will allow you to build a JS web components that will be natively supported in a headless environment. Sitecore is building a visual studio for the headless world. also, XM cloud can consume structured content from any CMS as long as it had a GraphQL interface.
  • Embeded personalization, testing and Analytics, it has all the features that Sitecore XP has, personalization at the edge for fast performance, in addition to Realtime analytics and AB testing and in short XM Cloud is the successor to Sitecore XP not XM.

Content Hub One

Brands needs a simpler and agile solution to content management, a simpler content database approach, content hub one is a new offering which is headless CMS, has all CH powerful content modeling and content authoring and edge delivery repackaged in a simpler approach.

Sitecore Search

When acquired Reflektion, they key part was the influent by how great the underline technology was, deep search AI expertise, team is super smart, we decided to take the product, abstract the technology from commerce products and apply it to content too, its live currently in Sitecore.com, fast predictive search, relevant content and tailor search using AI. Marketer can easily manage the search experience without technical knowledge, in addition detailed search analytics and content analytics, and for composable style, we can index content from any CMS, not just XM, or XM cloud, so one search index cross multiple sites regardless if they are sitecore or not.

So, Lets Talk Integration!

One of the exciting things about composability, offers flexibility and choice,  you can bring complexity of how to integrate products together,  Sitecore making huge investment on integration.

First: Release new Cloud Portal with XML cloud,  centralize all administration and connectivity, single sign on for all composable products, if you have experience with MS 365, its very similar concept, central point to manage everything, user management, billing and lots more. Initial content hub one, Send and Search but the goal to have them all!

Second: Sitecore Connect, Integration platform as A Service, provided to you by Sitecore, thousand of pre-build connectors to every vendor, with OOTB connectivity to all the sitecore products, drag and drop with no code / low code environment to manage all your integration in/out of Sitecore.

Unified Tracking in CDP, Coming SOON!

Allow us to create a unified tag for all composable DXP, capture data from multiple sources and help analyze these data, initially the focus will be on Sitecore products but externals can be included as well.

Wouldn't be Symposium without Sitecore XP release!

Sitecore 10.3 XP and XM in the next couple of weeks, most of the innovation done in XM cloud is sent back into XP, check these out in the following screenshot:

One Last Thing!!

Order Cloud is a headless commerce platform market leader in the B2B place and marketplace,  but we can do more with it, Project Affinity is expanding order cloud to create much greater commerce platform targeting B2C including two main innovations:

- Discover to be embeded  in in Order Cloud.
- Create Storefront builder in XM cloud with commerce components to build pages.

That was all, but I'm sure the coming sessions in Sitecore Symposium 2022 will bring much more details!
