Sitecore DX Minneapolis 2023 :: Recap!

 As you know Sitecore this year decided to go with smaller events called Sitecore DX instead of the well known Sitecore Symposium, to make it simpler and easier for everyone to attend this event in their region, this time the DX event was at Minneapolis and my company Americaneagle.com was a diamond sponsor for this event, their was big announcements in this event, in this post I will share my recap from this one day event! 


The DX event started this year with a keynote by Sitecore CEO, where he talked about how Sitecore did disrupt the market three years ago with new products and moving to cloud, and how Sitecore keeps accelerating and innovating with all of their products.

Sitecore CEO announced the XMC+ which will be the new bundle and version of XMC and how that will be the option for XP clients when moving to the cloud. he also mention how Sitecore is looking to utilize AI in all areas possible on their products.

Steve also showed how Sitecore has strong industry recognition from leading analysts, following you can find a couple of screenshots from Steve wonderful keynote: 







Roger Connolly, VP Product Management at Sitecore presented another keynote where he went through how Sitecore is innovating in Sitecore OrderCloud and Discover, and more about XMC with experience modernization, and low code no code authoring for marketers, personalization leadership, low code no code integrations for developers, extensible by Sitecore Partners, in addition to the lighting-fast performance, Roger also announced Sitecore XMC Plus, in addition to CM Cloud forms, and the Sitecore accelerate program, which will ensure the success if every customer on their experience modernization journey with XMC.



In addition, Roger mentioned the initiatives that Sitecore has to get advantage of AI in the different areas of Sitecore, that includes automatically tags videos and images with metadata, help people find content based on intent, answer questions intelligently, personalized content recommendations, multi-arm bandit testing, omnichannel digital decisioning, audience discovery and product recommendation, personalized product recommendations and much more.



In the main stage as well, there was a great presentation by our own Sitecore Practice Director Jon Price with our customer United where we showed how we utilized Sitecore CDP and Personalize to help United enhance gate experiences for customers and agents, following are couple of screenshots:
