Preparing for the Sitecore Content Hub certification depends on how much experience you have with the product, if you're just starting to learn then following are two important materials you should be starting with:
- Sitecore Content Hub Developer Training ON Sitecore eLearning.
- Sitecore Content Hub Certification Exam Guide ON Sitecore eLearning
You will find these two items very helpful, providing links and basic information about the important topics in addition to some questions examples, where some of these you may get in the exam.
Sitecore Content Hub has different modules, some topics are shared between modules and some are module-specific, in the following section I will share the important topics that you should focus on and understand as a lot of the questions in the exam are around these topics.
Its very important to understand the relations cardinality, One to One, One to Many and Many to Many, you will get some scenarios where you're asked to define the relation cardinality, its also important to understand taxonomy vs option list and when to use each, while studying differences focus on taxonomies usage and specials cases.
You will get some programming code questions, so being familiar with the APIs and dealing with entities will be helpful in the exam, so I would highly recommend to spend some time getting familiar with programming using Content Hub SDK, REST API and others.
One of the important sections I would focus on is the media processing section, understand the different flows, the extensions and the different tasks inside is essential. on a related topic the different types of scripts and their specifics is a very important topic.
Permissions, user profile, user and user groups are very important items to differentiate, understanding these items will help a lot answering some of the exam questions.
When working with moving content from one env to another, you would need to understand the export/import functionality in details, familiarize yourself with the process and maybe try it out to get more into details.
Finally, I want to say that the Content Hub Developer certification exam is not an easy one, so give your self a good amount of time to review materials, experience and get familiar with the product. Hope the above gave an overview and help you in your certification!
