Sitecore Symposium 2024 Day 1 Takeaways!

Sitecore Symposium 2024 took place last week in the country music city Nashville, Tennessee where the city become the digital experience city fir the whole week, where all sitecore experts from around the world meet and share experiences, knowledge and listen to Sitecore latest news and announcements, in this post I will share my key takeaways from this year symposium, from the main keynotes to the roadmaps and to the fun party we had at broadway street, keep reading!! 


On Wednesday October 14th Sitecore symposium started with an amazing keynote by Sitecore CEO Dave O’Flanagan, where he started by thanking this year Sitecore Symposium sponsors specially Americaneagle.com and Horizontal Integration. 



As the new CEO for Sitecore, Dave made sure that his first priority is listen to customers and make to understand what are the areas that Sitecore are doing good at and what the areas of improvement, in addition Dave share his priorities for the near future: 

Sitecore will be a valued and a trusted partner for customers and for whatever customer is trying to an achieve sitecore will have the technology, people & the partner echo system to achieve.  


In addition, Sitecore will make sure customers have a choice, a choice to remain on-premis or go to cloud with SaaS products, or upgrade from XP to the composable products when ready. 


Also Sitecore will continue to innovate a head of market, Sitecore is committed to deliver market leading products to make sure customers have standout digital solutions. 


Dave also mentioned that Sitecore achieved half billion returns in addition how Sitecore will be the vendor of choice for experience and content, and showed the power of sitecore to manage the full content lifecycle to delivering personalized digital experiences at scale, and how composability is core to sitecore strategy, how sitecore become the first choice DXP solution for big brands around the globe.  


Dave also showed how sitecore wants to help marketers to achieve more, through integrating AI into the composable tech stack, to create the first truly intelligent DXP, announcing Sitecore Stream, which represents a market leading innovation for the intelligent first DXP. and its not all about adding AI but more of understanding how marketers work and creating intelligence, brand intelligence, campaign intelligence, experience intelligence and market intelligence, to increase markets productivity.




Sitecore Stram is not a new product, its an add-on on all current sitecore products, and consist of three core capabilities:, first its brand aware AI, which make sure actions are aligned with the brand, Operative copilot, and AI enhanced workflow.

Another Big news from the main stage is that All of Sitecore's content and experience solutions - Content Hub, XM Cloud, CDP, and Personalize - have been independently audited and are officially HIPAA compliant.



This was an energizing keynotes in the morning, then the breakout sessions fun begins, a lot of roadmap sessions that I have been waiting for, from XM Cloud to Marketplace to XP/XM/XC roadmaps, too much to share which I believe I should separate in a new post. stay tuned.
